The Buffalo Bills picked off John Skelton in overtime to get the win over Arizona.
Cardinals fail to capitalize against Bills
SB Nation’s Cardinals blog, Revenge of the Birds, reflected on the loss and grabbed a telling quote from head coach Ken Whisenhunt. If the Cardinals don’t get back on track in a hurry, they could be facing a long losing skid in the desert.
Revenge of the Birds was also concerned about numerous dropped passes and that the offensive line continues to struggle with assignments. The season is still young, but given the recent struggles and the upcoming slate of games, the Cardinals are going to find out what they’re made of in the coming weeks.

Kevin Hoffman-US PRESSWIRE - PresswireBuffalo was one of the better offensive teams in the league early in the year, averaging nearly 29 points-per-game in the month of September. So why the 2-3 record now? The defense has allowed an average of 35 points to their opponents, and they surrendered a combined 97 points the past two weeks. For the Cardinals, who typically struggle to move the ball given their injury issues, this game might just turn into a grind-it-out, low-scoring affair.
