Bills vs. Cardinals 2012: Jay Feely nails a 61-yard field goal, misses 38-yarder

Cardinals kicker Jay Feely, gloves and all, converted on a 61-yard field goal attempt in Sunday’s game against the Bills.

Arizona Cardinals kicker Jay Feely just did what many kickers can only dream of — booted a 61-yard field goal, right down the middle of the goal posts. Feely, known for weirdly wearing gloves despite never using his hands and going on First Take to debate Skip Bayless from time to time, now has something truly positive on his resume.

That kick was to tie the Cardinals' game with the Buffalo Bills at 16 apiece with just more than a minute to play. Feely got an opportunity to win it with a substantially easier kick, a 38-yarder, as time expired, but hit the left upright. Ah, the life of a kicker.
