The San Francisco 49ers look to stay undefeated at home as the New York Giants head to San Francisco in search of their fourth win of the season.

The 49ers (4-1) are coming off of their best offensive performance of the year in Week 5 after thrashing the Buffalo Bills 45-3 at home. The Giants were also impressive in Week 5, improving to 3-2 with a 41-27 victory over the Cleveland Browns.

The San Francisco offense was clicking on all cylinders in Week 5. Alex Smith threw for a season high 303 yards and three touchdowns as the 49ers accumulated a franchise-record 621 yards in the victory. They also became the first team in the NFL to ever throw for 300 yards and rush for 300 yards in the same game. The 49ers are the top running team in the NFL, averaging 195.8 yards per game and they averaged 8.2 yards per rush against the Bills.

Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw is coming off of his best performance of the season, gaining a career-best 200 yards on the ground against the Browns. Wide receiver also finished with a career high three touchdown catches. The Giants offense will have their work cut out for them as they 49ers defense ranks as one of the best in the NFL. The Niners defense only allows 181.2 passing yards per game, good for second best in the NFL, and 81.4 yards on the ground, good for seventh.

Led by quarterback Eli Manning, the Giants are the third most prolific passing team in the NFL, throwing for 309 yards per contest. Even without receiver Hakeem Nicks for the past three week, Manning hasn't missed much of a beat this year, throwing for 1,579 yards and 10 touchdowns in five games.
