Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson (ankle) was listed as probable on the team's injury report on Friday. The franchise back missed Wednesday's practice, was limited in Thursday's practiced, but was a full participant on Friday. The team expects him to play this Sunday versus the Washington Redskins.

The Vikings (4-1) have been rolling this season, going strong with Adrian Peterson back from his 2011 ACL injury. The team has continued to rely on him for production and he hasn't missed a beat. The surprise performance of Christian Ponder this year has also helped Peterson and the Vikings get ahead in a very tough NFC North division.

Fantasy Analysis: With Peterson on track to play this Sunday, he is a must-start. He is a unique breed of football player that is as much irreplaceable in fantasy as he is in real life. The team will continue to forge ahead this season with Peterson at the helm. His power and agility as a runner makes him a game-changing threat.

He will continue to get plenty of touches on game day and be a top scoring threat for the team. For those who gambled on Peterson in the draft, continue to start him as he’s added tremendous value to your fantasy lineup.
