Jamaal Charles has quiet fantasy day as Chiefs bottom out

Jamaal Charles, like the rest of the Chiefs, couldn’t get anything going against the Bucs. We break down the fantasy implications.

Kansas City Chiefs RB Jamaal Chalres was quiet in Week 6. Against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Charles had just 40 rushing yards on 12 carries. He added two catches for seven yards, and could never get going against the Bucs.

The Chiefs were blown out 38-10, falling to 1-4 on the season.

Fantasy Impact: After all the noise of the Chiefs hoping to give Charles even more playing time, they held him to just 12 carries, inexplicably giving 11 touches to Shaun Draughn and five to Nate Eachus. He was a non-factor in the second half as the game got out of hand

The Chiefs get a bye in Week 7 as they try to figure things out. Charles should be on your bench next week, but he has an appealing matchup against the Raiders in Week 8.
