Steven Jackson, Daryl Richardson share backfield Sunday: Fantasy implications
Steven Jackson and Daryl Richardson split carries out of the backfield for the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. Jackson had 12 carries for 52 yards and Richardson had 11 carries for 76 yards. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jackson now has 323 yards rushing and 10 receptions for 76 yards, but has yet to find the end zone this season. Richardson has 246 yards rushing and seven receptions for 59 yards receiving, but also has yet to score.
Fantasy Impact: Richardson has slowly been taking on a greater role each week, and on Sunday he played in an outright time share with Jackson. He was more effective than the veteran, too, meaning he should still continue to see a significant number of touches.
Going forward, Richardson is arguably the more valuable running back from a fantasy perspective. Neither back can realize his full potential while the other is healthy, however. Consider Richardson and/or Jackson Flex options at best in standard leagues.
