Russell Wilson puts on fantasy clinic against Patriots

Russell Wilson brought his A-game in Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

Russell Wilson put in his best performance yet against the Patriots in Week 6, throwing for a career-high 293 yards and three touchdowns. He did lose one fumble on the afternoon, but he didn’t give up any interceptions after throwing five in the past two weeks.

This was the most impressive Wilson has looked since entering the NFL. He looks like he’s not going anywhere as a starter at this point.

Fantasy Impact: It’s still tough to consider Wilson as a starter for your lineup, but he made a strong case for it against New England. Wilson only completed 16 of 27 passes, so he racked up the stats on a small amount of passes.

Wilson takes on a tough 49ers defense on Thursday night. Don’t expect these numbers to repeat in Week 7.
