San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree was limited against the New York Giants on Sunday. The Niners No. 1 wide receiver only made 3 grabs for 26 yards in Week 6. He was also held out of the end zone by the Giants. Crabtree was coming off a big game against the Buffalo Bills, but disappeared once again this week.
Michael Crabtree is hot and cold, remains a fantasy conundrum
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree was limited in Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

When it comes to Crabtree, consistency has been a major issue. His potential is so high, but it’s hard to be wowed by Crabtree when he cannot put together back-to-back performances to help his team.
Fantasy Analysis: Michael Crabtree would be an appealing option for a lot of people. The 49ers have an efficient offense most days, and Crabtree is one of their consistent full-time players, sitting comfortably at the receiver spot. However, he does not bring that dynamism that you’d like in a fantasy receiver.
Crabtree would be good in PPR leagues, but once again, consistency is an issue. Crabtree should be owned in a majority of leagues, but he is not a week-to-week must-start. Feel free to play the match-ups with the 49ers receiver.
