Broncos vs. Chargers: Game time, TV schedule, odds and more

It’s an AFC West showdown on Monday Night Football as the Denver Broncos travel to San Diego.

The Denver Broncos (2-3) travel to San Diego to take on the Chargers (3-2) in an AFC West showdown for Monday Night Football on ESPN.

Despite the Broncos' struggles at times this year, including a 31-21 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 5, Peyton Manning's team can take control of the top spot in the division with a win over the Chargers on Monday night. The Chargers have won four of the last five meetings between the teams, however, and Norv Turner's teams are 4-1 against Manning when he was with the Colts.

The Chargers, meanwhile, look to get an increased workload from running back Ryan Mathews, who rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on 12 attempts against the New Orleans Saints in Week 5. The Broncos allowed 252 yards rushing against the Patriots and will have to find a way to stop Matthews, who has averaged over five yards per carry the past two weeks.

San Diego is looking to prove itself as a legitimate contender on Monday night, with all three wins this season coming against sub-par teams while losing to the Atlanta Falcons and Saints.

The Chargers are a 3-point favorite.

Game Date/Time: Monday, Oct. 15., 8:30 p.m. ET

Location: Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego

TV Schedule: ESPN

Radio Schedule:
Chargers: KIOZ 105.3 FM
Broncos: KOA 850 AM
