DeMarco Murray will have MRI on Monday, fantasy status in question

DeMarco Murray is set to undergo an MRI on his foot. We break down the fantasy implications.

Tim Heitman-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

DeMarco Murray reportedly sprained his foot in Week 6 against the Ravens, forcing him to miss the majority of the second half. Murray will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the damage.

He looked good running the ball before he exited, rushing for 94 yards on 14 carries. Murray was not in a walking boot after, and said was trying to get back in the game while on the sidelines.

Fantasy Impact: It’s a positive sign that Murray wasn’t in a boot afterwards. The concern coming into the season was his ability to be healthy, so hopefully his owners won’t be without his talents for too long.

Felix Jones rushed 92 yards and a touchdown with Murray missing time. It would be wise for his owners to pick Jones up as a precaution this week.
