The Dolphins leading receiver did not catch a single pass or receive a single official target in Week 6 against the Rams. Mike Berardino of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel suggests a quad issue that slowed Hartline in practice might have been a key to his poor performance.
Brian Hartline might have be hindered by quad injury: fantasy implications
Brian Hartline was completely shutout in Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cortland Finnegan covered Hartline all game long, and Hartline could not create any separation. The Dolphins are on a bye for him to rest in Week 7.
Fantasy Impact: Head coach Joe Philbin only said the Rams had his team out of rhythm when asked about Hartline's struggles. While Finnegan is one of the league's top corners, it's still surprising to see Ryan Tannehill's No. 1 receiver go completely shut out.
Week 8 won't be any easier for Hartline, as the Dolphins face the Jets on the road. Hartline will likely be covered by Antonio Cromartie, posing another tough defender for him to deal with.
