After Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel said he wouldn't address the quarterback situation that forced Brady Quinn to make his first start of the year for the concussed Matt Cassel.

Brady Quinn was a “little rusty” in his first start for the Chiefs on Sunday, but Matt Cassel hasn’t been cleared to practice yet.

Crennel said Quinn was “a little rusty,” according to the Kansas City Star. Quinn finished 22 of 38 for 180 yards and two interceptions.
As for quarterback, Crennel said his speculating on the starting job was pointless with Cassel out because of a concussion he suffered in the previous week's game against the Ravens.
"When (Cassel) is cleared to practice we'll make an evaluation at that time," Crennel said.
According to another story on KansasCity.com, it’s “unclear” whether or not Cassel will be ready to play against the Raiders on Oct. 28. The Chiefs have a bye this week.
Oakland Raiders right guard Mike Brisiel left Sunday's game in the second quarter after suffering a concussion, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. Brisiel will have to pass tests before he can practice. Alex Parsons replaced Brisiel on the line in Sunday's 23-20 loss to Atlanta.
Denver Broncos cornerback Tracy Porter missed Monday night's come-from-behind victory against the San Diego Chargers with an illness, CBS Sports reported. He didn't make the flight to San Diego. Chris Harris filled in for Porter, while Tony Carter moved to nickleback on Monday.
San Diego Chargers wide receiver Malcom Floyd was questionable with a groin injury all week, but he played in Monday night's game against the Broncos. He finished with 60 yards on five catches.
