Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe wants out Kansas City "very badly," according to Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports. The receiver and the Chiefs were unable to come to a long-term contract agreement this before the season began, with the team placing the franchise tag on Bowe in the offseason.

The Chiefs are currently 1-5 on the season and struggling on both sides of the ball, recently losing to the Buffalo Bills 35-17. The Chiefs have had major issues at quarterback all season long, with Matt Cassel struggling before going down with an injury and Brady Quinn underwhelming in his first start in nearly three years.

Against the Bills, Bowe had a season-high eight catches for 102 yards and two touchdowns. For the season, Bowe has caught 34 balls for 423 yards and three touchdowns and has been targeted 66 times.

Cole had suggested earlier in the day that Bowe would be a logical trade target for the Miami Dolphins, who possess excess draft picks and have a need for a receiver.
