The Broncos linebacker will be suspended for an additional three games following a conviction on a drunk driving charge in August.

The additional punishment comes as a result of Williams’ conviction on a drunk driving charge in August, his second DWAI (driving while ability impaired) since joining the Broncos in 2004.
The linebacker’s original suspension followed a violation of the NFL’s banned substance policy last year after he provided a “non-human” urine sample in a drug test.
