Eagles DE Jason Babin talks scheme changes
Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Jason Babin talks about the changes the Eagles’ defense is undergoing with new coordinator Todd Bowles.

During their bye the Eagles fired defensive coordinator Juan Castillo and replaced him with Todd Bowles. Babin said there would not be any major scheme changes, but rather, changes that would be minor tweaks, which he thought can make a big difference.
Babin, who only has 2.5 sacks so far this season after recording 18 last year, said the Eagles are getting to the quarterback just a split second too late. Babin believes the sacks will come if Philadelphia’s defense can make small changes that force the opposing quarterback to hold onto the ball just a bit longer.
Todd Bowles was the defensive backs coach for the Eagles this season prior to being named the new defensive coordinator. He was the interim head coach for the Miami Dolphins for their last three games in 2011, going 2-1 in that temporary role.
The Eagles (3-3) will host the Atlanta Falcons (6-0) on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET with both teams coming off their bye week.
