Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw is not mad

New York Giants’ running back Ahmad Bradshaw said he was not angry on the sideline during last Sunday’s 27-23 victory over the Washington Redskins.

New York Giants' running back Ahmad Bradshaw told ESPN's Stephen A. Smith and Ryan Ruocco that he was not angry despite the cameras picking up some heated moments between him and coach Tom Coughlin during the team's 27-23 win over the Washington Redskins last Sunday. Bradshaw spoke with Smith and Ruocco on ESPN Radio New York about the spat on the sideline with Coughlin as well as an incident between him and wide receiver Victor Cruz.

When asked if he was angry, Bradshaw said, “No, I’m never angry, man. It’s just all competitiveness with me.” Bradshaw said that emotions were riding high in the tight game with the Redskins that featured two lead changes within the last two minutes of the game.

Bradshaw was seen slapping Cruz in the back of the head after Cruz had missed a key block earlier in the game. Bradshaw said there were no bad feelings between himself and Cruz and that it was “just a c’mon slap.”

Bradshaw rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries against the Redskins. The Giants take on the Dallas Cowboys at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday in Dallas.
