Chris Cook left Thursday's game with a wrist injury and was unable to return to the field. Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier confirmed after the game that the injury was a break and will likely end Cook's season.

Chris Cook broke his wrist against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, ending his season.

The injury occurred during the second quarter of Thursday’s game. Cook left the field and was taken to the locker room for further examination and X-rays. Updates regarding the break did not come out until moments ago, via the team’s Twitter account.
While he off the field for the second half, the Buccaneers began to open up their passing game. Josh Freeman picked on Cook's side of the field, hooking up with receiver Mike Williams on a critical 34-yard reception in the forth quarter that led to a Doug Martin touchdown.
On the season, Cook has 22 tackles and five passes defended. His role now falls to third year CB A.J. Jefferson moving forward. Jefferson was acquired during the offseason via trade from the Arizona Cardinals. He has just two tackles and one pass defended in six games this season.
