Patriots vs. Rams: Game time, TV schedule, odds and more

The Patriots and Rams travel to London for their final game before a mid-season Bye week.

Jared Wickerham

Fresh off an ugly overtime win over the Jets, the New England Patriots now travel across the pond for a game against the St. Louis Rams. The Patriots are probably the most high-profile team the NFL has sent to London for the annual game abroad, but they're not exactly playing their most impressive football during the Belichick-Brady era.

After an ugly giveaway in the fourth quarter against the Seahawks, the Pats nearly squandered a 10-point lead against an offensively-challenged Jets team last week. Tom Brady and the offense have struggled to come up with sustained drives at critical times, and the vertical passing game has also been relatively quiet in recent weeks as he attempts to find a go-to threat on the outside. Belichick's secondary has also been prone to giving up big plays and letting their opponents back in it.

Despite their recent inconsistent play, the Pats are still 7.5 points favorites against the Rams. Aaron Rodgers overwhelmed St. Louis last week at the Edward Jones Dome. The Rams did not necessarily play a bad game, but the reigning MVP was too much and sealed the win with a rocket to Randall Cobb in the fourth quarter. St. Louis is 3-4 on the season and is trying to snap their first losing streak under Jeff Fisher. Quarterback Sam Bradford leads the 24th ranked passing attack in the league, but perhaps New England's secondary will provide an opportunity to break out.
