The New York Jets suffered a humiliating 30-9 loss on Sunday at the hands of the Miami Dolphins, as their Mark Sanchez-led offense struggled all day long.

After Mark Sanchez’s latest poor outing in a 30-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins, New York Jets fans think it’s time for him to be benched.
Scott Salmon of SB Nation’s Jets blog Gang Green Nation reamed pretty much the entire team for their dreadful performance, and he was especially critical of Sanchez:
I mentioned Sanchez above. Well, here’s the rest of it. Sanchez was horrific. Horrible. Horrifying. Horrendous. Hideous. Heinous. You get the idea. I’m over-exaggerating a bit for emphasis, but I think it’s time we put the Sanchez debate to bed. John B. said it best when it looks like Sanchez will never be more than a good backup, but a bad starter.
Sanchez was 28-of-54 for 283 yards and one touchdown with two turnovers as well. The MetLife Stadium crowd chanted for Tim Tebow numerous times in the second half, but Jets coach Rex Ryan stayed with the embattled Sanchez for the rest of the game.
Salmon's not convinced that Tebow or even third-string quarterback Greg McElroy would perform much better, but he thinks it's time to move on from Sanchez. The quarterback has lost all of his mojo from his first couple of seasons and simply has not made enough progress.
New York has a week off before returning to action in Week 10. Whoever gets the call at quarterback won't have it easy, as they will be facing the strong Seattle Seahawks defense.
