Former Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson believes that San Diego should send head coach Norv Turner and general manager A.J. Smith packing if the team doesn't make the playoffs this season. Tomlinson aired his opinion on Wednesday's Dan Patrick show, according to NFL.com.
Tomlinson says Chargers should fire Norv Turner, A.J. Smith if team misses playoffs
One of San Diego’s all-time greats believes it is now or never for Norv Turner and A.J. Smith.

The Chargers have lost three straight games after a 3-1 start, including blowing a large second-half lead to the Denver Broncos and falling 7-6 to the Cleveland Browns. Turner's job performance has come under fire as San Diego has failed to live up to expectations.
If the Chargers do miss the playoffs this season, it will be for the third-straight time since finishing 13-3 in 2009. This is Turner’s sixth season with San Diego, and he hasn’t been able to match the success of his first year with the club, when the Chargers lost in the AFC Championship game.
Smith has been with San Diego since 2003, and his current contract runs through 2014.
