Falcons vs. Redskins: Game time, TV schedule, odds and more

The undefeated Atlanta Falcons will face the Washington Redskins in Week 5.

Kim Klement-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

The Atlanta Falcons (4-0) will look to remain undefeated on Sunday afternoon when the team travels to Maryland to challenge the Washington Redskins (2-2) in Week 5.

Largely considered one of the best teams in the league, Atlanta has managed to score at least 27 points in each game this season and has outscored its opponents by a margin of 124-76. Entering the game after a close battle with the Carolina Panthers, Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan will look to continue the team's potent offensive attack with help from wide receivers Julio Jones and Roddy White along with tight end Tony Gonzalez (each player has registered three touchdowns this season).

Washington is also coming into the contest fresh off a close win, as rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III led an impressive two-minute drill that allowed Billy Cundiff to kick a game-winning field goal in the closing seconds of Week 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Griffin has largely lived up to the hype to this point and has helped Washington register 123 points, the fifth-most points scored by any team. However, the defense has also allowed 123 points this season, which potentially could led to problems against Atlanta’s high-powered offensive attack.

The Falcons were favored by 3 in the opening point spread and the total was set at more than 50, according to SB Nation’s odds powered by OddsShark.com.
