The Minnesota Vikings are off to a 4-1 start to the season following Sunday's 30-7 win over the Tennessee Titans, and one reason for their success in the early stages of the season is quarterback Christian Ponder. As SB Nation's Daily Norseman wrote following Sunday's win, the Vikings' passing game has been growing under Ponder:

The pass offense has been growing and developing, and even with Christian Ponder's two interceptions on Sunday against the Titans, he still has a quarterback rating on the season of 95.5. . .still impressive.
Ponder is completing 69 percent of his throws this year, which is up from 54.3 percent in 2011. He is averaging more yards per attempt and per game than he did as a rookie, and he has thrown six touchdown passes against just two interceptions. Ponder threw 13 touchdown passes and 13 interceptions last season.
With Ponder’s help, the Vikings offense is averaging 24 points and 344 total yards per game. The Vikings have defeated Jacksonville, San Francisco and Detroit this season, in addition to Tennessee.
The Vikings will try to improve to 5-1 when they take on the Washington Redskins in Week 6.
