Houston sports the top defense in the NFL, along with the second-highest scoring offense in the league, presenting an incredibly balanced attack both sides of the football. The Jets, meanwhile, were shutout at home by the San Francisco 49ers this past week.
The 34-0 loss raised more questions as to whether Mark Sanchez should be benched in favor of Tim Tebow, after the starting quarterback passed for just 103 yards and one interception on 29 attempts. Tebow, traded to the Jets in the offseason, has just nine rushing attempts for 38 yards this season and has attempted only one pass.
The Jets, already missing Darrelle Revis (likely for the year), placed receiver Santonio Holmes on injured reserve this week.
