NFL odds Week 9: Bills vs. Texans
Matt Schaub and the Houston Texans meet with the Buffalo Bills at Reliant Stadium.

Houston has been the best team in the AFC this season, led by stars such as Andre Johnson, J.J. Watt, Matt Schaub and Arian Foster. The Texans have also been excellent at home this year with a 3-1 record. In their last home contest, Houston absolutely pounded the Baltimore Ravens 43-13.
Despite a powerful offense, the team has been led by an ultra-stingy defense that ranks 5th against the pass and 4th versus the run. Under defensive coordinator Wade Phillips, the Texans have had one of the best defenses over the past few years.
Buffalo on the other hand has had issues at quarterback with Ryan Fitzpatrick. The Harvard alum has struggled this year, throwing nine interceptions thus far. The Bills are coming off their bye week, so Chan Gailey has had time to prepare for what could be his toughest test yet.
Buffalo’s other massive problem has been its run defense, which ranks dead last, allowing 176.9 yards per game.
