NFL lines and odds Week 9: Buccaneers vs. Raiders

The Oakland Raiders opened as slight favorites over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, although the line has dropped since then.

Peter Aiken

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders face off in Week 9 of the NFL regular season. Currently, the 3-4 Bucs are slight underdogs to the 3-4 Raiders.

The Raiders were announced as 1.5-point favorites over the Buccaneers. Depending on which sportsbook you look at, the line has dropped to either even (basically a pick'em), or the Raiders are currently posted as one-point favorites.

Tampa is coming off their most impressive win of the season, stomping Minnesota on Thursday Night Football, 36-17. The Bucs also had a competitive loss to the Saints and crushed the Chiefs in the two previous weeks, so they have been playing well.

Oakland has been doing well themselves. The Raiders are riding a two-game winning streak into this contest, beating the Jaguars in overtime and the Chiefs in Arrowhead. The Raiders have also had a competitive loss to the Falcons, so they've put together several strong performances since their bye week.
