Following some time on the sideline with trainers, Jones left the field and is currently being examined in the locker room. Recent news out of New Orleans lists Julio Jones as “questionable” to return with what’s currently being listed as a leg injury.
Up to the point he left the field, Julio Jones had caught two passes for 14 yards. Quarterback Matt Ryan has been able to find Roddy White more often early in the game, connecting with White four times for 74 yards.
If Jones is unable to return, Atlanta will turn to third receiver Harry Douglas to fill the role. The slot receiver has 16 receptions for 149 yards this season, and while he's a competent receiver in his own right, he doesn't hold a candle to the Falcons' second-year phenom. With White, Michael Turner, and Tony Gonzalez, the Falcons still have plenty of weapons, but their big-play potential is hurt.
