Chiefs celebrate like they haven’t led all season

And get penalized for it.

Gregory Shamus

The Kansas City Chiefs are acting like they haven't held a lead all season!

Oh, what’s that? The Chiefs actually took their first lead in this game?

The Chiefs were penalized for the celebration above. Byron Leftwich was hurried on a play and appeared to fumble the ball. Justin Houston picked it up and ran it in for a touchdown. But if you saw the play, you knew it was obviously an incomplete pass, not a fumble.

The referees got it right and ruled it an incomplete pass. They also penalized for the Chiefs for that celebration.

Your 2012 Chiefs ... penalized for too much celebrating.
