Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was sandwiched by Kansas City Chiefs linebackers Justin Houston and Tamba Hali on Monday night, hurting his right shoulder. The Steelers officially ruled his return questionable but Roethlisberger doesn't appear to be returning anytime soon.
Ben Roethlisberger injury: Steelers QB carted away, replaced by Byron Leftwich
Roethlisberger was sandwiched between two Chiefs linebackers.

His shoulder pads are off in the screen grab above. That’s a sign that he may not be returning to the game.
The Steelers QB was initially taken to the locker room while Byron Leftwich took his spot in the lineup. The ESPN cameras then showed Roethlisberger being taken away on a cart, perhaps being taken for more tests.
The injury is to his right shoulder, which is his throwing shoulder. So this is concerning for the Steelers because Leftwich isn’t in the same universe as Roethlisberger as a player. The Steelers are in the AFC playoff picture and an injury to Roethlisberger -- any kind of injury -- would change how we view the Steelers.
