Steelers’ Ryan Clark could play vs. Ravens after concussion tests

After passing his concussion tests, Ryan Clark appears likely to play Sunday against the Ravens.

Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark has passed all of his concussion tests and it appears he will play Sunday night against the Baltimore Ravens, according to a report from Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on Friday.

Clark also completed a full practice on Thursday with the team after clearing his ImPACT concussion tests and meeting with neurosurgeon Dr. Joseph Maroon, according to the report. He was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice.

For the season, Clark has recorded 62 total tackles, one forced fumble and one interception. In Monday night's 16-13 overtime victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, Clark tallied 10 total tackles and two passes defensed. He is part of the league's top-rated pass defense, which is allowing only 171.1 yards through the air per game.

Sunday night will be the first meeting this season between the division rival Steelers and Ravens. It will also be the first in a span of three weeks, as Pittsburgh heads to Baltimore for the second tussle of the season in Week 13. At 4-0, the Steelers have yet to lose at home this season.
