Bengals vs. Chiefs final score: Andy Dalton, A.J. Green lead Bengals to blowout 28-6 win

The Cincinnati Bengals rolled over the Chiefs in Week 11, improving to 5-5 on the season.

The Cincinnati Bengals are back at .500 after a dominating 28-6 win over the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. The Bengals controlled the game on both sides of the ball, with quarterback Andy Dalton working with his talented corps of pass catchers to pick apart the Chiefs defense.

Dalton repeatedly connected with A.J. Green, who's emerged as one of the best, if not the best receiver in the game in his second season in the league. Green victimized Brandon Flowers on the outside and opened the Bengals' scoring by hauling in a four-yard touchdown catch at the end of the first quarter. The Cincy offense would roll from there and put the game out of reach early in the fourth quarter.

Green set up the Bengals second score of the game when he pulled in a 40-yard pass from Dalton midway through the second quarter. After a Jermaine Gresham touchdown was overturned on replay, the Bengals quarterback ran it in from one yard out on a bootleg out to the left side. Six minutes later, the Bengals took a commanding 21-3 lead on a sustained drive that finished with a BenJarvus Green-Ellis touchdown run with less than a minute to play.

With a comfortable lead, Cincinnati went to the ground and salted it away in the second half. Green-Ellis finished with a season-high 101 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries, and the woeful Kansas City offense would never threaten to make it a game.

Dalton was 18 of 29 for 230 yards and two touchdowns through the air, and also added a touchdown run on the ground in an efficient and impressive performance. Green had six catches for 91 yards and a touchdown.

The Bengals were favored by three points and easily covered the spread on the road.

What’s next?

The Bengals return home and will host the Oakland Raiders in Week 12. The AFC West-leading Broncos will visit Kansas City.
