The Seattle Seahawks have lost back-to-back games, but most NFL experts are predicting them to get back in the win column against the Minnesota Vikings.
NFL Week 9 picks and predictions: Vikings vs. Seahawks
Despite having a worse regular season record, most NFL experts are picking the Seahawks against the Vikings.
At 4-4, the Seahawks have a worse regular season record than the 5-3 Vikings, but Seattle is playing at home where they are 3-0 this season. With the home factor likely playing a big role, NFL experts are nearly unanimous in picking Seattle this week.
Of the 12 ESPN NFL analysts, 11 picked the Seahawks to win on Sunday. Only Mike Ditka picked against Seattle this week. This comes a week after nine of the ESPN experts picked Seattle against the Detroit Lions. Ditka has now picked against Seattle in five of the nine weeks.
Picking the game straight up, CBS Sports NFL analysts are also almost unanimously in favor of Seattle. Seven of the eight CBS experts picked the Seahawks with only Mike Freeman picking Minnesota. That changes slightly when the experts pick against the spread as four of the eight picked Minnesota as the 5-1/2-point underdog.
All three NFL experts from Yahoo! Sports picked Seattle. In all, 21 of the 23 national NFL experts picked Seattle to win this week.
