A difficult season for Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall got even worse on Tuesday. The Redskins’ cornerback engaged in a shouting match with Washington Post reporter Mike Jones following the team’s open locker room, according to Ian Rapoportt of NFL Network. Hall and Jones had to be separated by security but they later met and “calmly hashed things out.”
DeAngelo Hall engages in verbal altercation with reporter Tuesday
The Washington Redskins’ cornerback shouted at a reporter because he felt he was being misquoted.

Hall disputed a quote that Jones used for a story, according to Rapoport. Jones had the line on tape, which accelerated the disagreement.
This is not the first time that Hall has snapped and gotten engaged in a verbal confrontation. Hall was fined $30,000 earlier this year for yelling at an official in the closing minutes of Washington’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on October 28. Last season, Hall lashed out with a profanity-laced tirade after the Redskins’ close loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Hall also fought with Falcons coach Mike Smith during a Redskins loss in Atlanta in 2009.
