The Houston Texans (9-1) are travelling to face the Detroit Lions (4-6) on a short week on Thursday, but picks by NFL experts at ESPN, CBS and Yahoo still put the Texans as heavy favorites. Of ESPN's 12 human pickers, all but one like Houston, while seven of eight of CBS' human pickers and two of Yahoo's three human pickers are siding with the Texans.

Nearly every NFL expert is expecting the Texans to win on Thursday.
As for the computers and the users, they are also sticking with the Texans. ESPN’s Accuscore system, ESPN’s users, CBS’ Prediction Machine and Yahoo’s users all like Houston to pick up their 10th win of the season. Those aforementioned dissenters are Merril Hoge at ESPN, Jason La Canfora at CBS and Jason Cole at Yahoo.
One variable that could potentially slant these picks at or near game time is the status of top Texans corner Johnathan Joseph, who pulled his hamstring in Houston's victory last week over the Jacksonville Jaguars and has not yet been cleared or ruled out for their Thanksgiving Day matchup.
