The Minnesota Vikings will likely be without their top receiver Percy Harvin, as he has officially been listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.
Percy Harvin injury: Vikings WR officially doubtful for Week 12
It’s highly unlikely that Percy Harvin will play on Sunday.
Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier says that he would like to see Harvin practice before he returns, according to ESPN’s Ed Werder, who also added that Harvin was still limping.
Harvin made a brief appearance at practice on Friday but was gone after the team’s stretching exercises.
He missed the Vikings’ last game, as well. Harvin had extra time to heal, as Minnesota was on its bye week last Sunday, but he still will not be able to play due to the injury to his ankle.
Rookie Jarius Wright will take over at Harvin's position, while Michael Jenkins and Jerome Simpson should see more snaps on Sunday.
At 6-4, the Vikings hope to win a crucial game against the Bears without their top receiver.
