The inactives are out for one of Week 12's marquee games, the 49ers' clash with the Saints in New Orleans. Charles Brown, Junior Galette, Elbert Mack, and Corey White were all ruled out on the Saints' Friday injury report. Tackle Zach Strief was listed as questionable and he will also be unable to go in Week 12. Darren Sproles, who's been dealing with a hand injury and has yet to play in the month of November, is active and will play against the Niners' stout defense. Here are your inactives for the Saints:
NFL inactive list, Week 12: 49ers vs. Saints
The 49ers face the Saints in what will surely be a raucous Superdome, and New Orleans will be getting back special teams ace and running back Darren Sproles.

- Charles Brown T
- Junior Galette DT
- Elbert Mack DB
- Scott Shanle OLB
- Zach Strief T
- Tyrunn Walker DE
- Corey White CB
The biggest shake up for the 49ers is, of course, at the quarterback position. The 49ers listed Alex Smith as questionable, as the quarterback still recovers from a concussion sustained two weeks ago against the Rams. Smith is active, but the biggest development for the 49ers this week was the announcement that Colin Kaepernick would get the start. Jim Harbaugh said he would go with the "hot hand," and Kaepernick was named the starter for reasons unrelated to Smith's health or status. Running back Brandon Jacobs will also be active for the Niners this week. Here's the complete list of the 49ers' inactives:
- LaMichael James RB
- A.J. Jenkins WR
- Joe Looney G
- Gijon Robinson TE
- Scott Tolzien QB
- Will Tukuafu DT
- Ian Williams NT
