Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning reportedly underwent a concussion test during Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to Mike Klis of The Denver Post and Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com. Manning took a hit from Chiefs defensive lineman Tyson Jackson while throwing a second quarter touchdown pass, but was cleared to play and did not miss any game action:

“I’m fine, everything checked out OK, ” Manning said as he walked out of Arrowhead Stadium toward the team bus. “I took a hit there, but I was cleared.”

Manning also reportedly underwent a postgame x-ray as a precaution, but is not expected to miss any action.

Manning finished the game 22/37 for 285 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. He was also sacked twice. The 36-year-old future Hall of Fame inductee returned to action this season after a cervical spine fusion procedure prevented him from playing in 2011. Since his return, Manning has started every game for Denver, completing 68.5% of pass attempts for 2,975 yards, 24 touchdowns and just seven interceptions.

Denver defeated the Chiefs 17-9 Sunday to extend their commanding lead atop the AFC West Division.
