The Philadelphia Eagles will place star wide receiver DeSean Jackson on the injured reserve list, ending his 2012 season, according to the team. The news comes less than 24 hours after Jackson left the Eagles' 30-22 loss to the Carolina Panthers with a rib injury.
Jackson had X-rays on his ribs, which came back negative, however, the MRI Tuesday showed multiple rib fractures that would not allow the two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver to play in the Eagles' remaining five games.
