NFL Week 13 betting trends: Patriots go OVER, Jaguars win on road

The Jaguars are terrible on the field, but wonderful at the payout window. The Cowboys are perfect at home - perfect for those betting against them, that is. Check out the Week 13 NFL trends, courtesy of OddsShark.com.

The Jacksonville Jaguars rank dead last in Super Bowl odds and are generally regarded as the worst team in the NFL, but don’t tell that to NFL bettors.

Because the dirty little secret that sportsbooks don’t want you to know is this - the Jaguars cover the spread.

How many times have the Jaguars covered the spread in their last six games? If you answered ‘6’, congratulations and check out the tempting +7 point spread as they visit Buffalo this week.

Week 13 NFL trends see plenty of intriguing angles and patterns, none of which are quite as compelling as the New England Patriots trends within the division. The Pats visit Miami and bettors know that in the last 17 games within the AFC East, the Patriots have played OVER the total 16 times.

That’s right, 16-1 favoring the OVER. That’s right, the same Pats team that has played nine consecutive OVERs this season.

Speaking of 16, that is the number of home games that the Baltimore Ravens have won in a row. Those are straight up wins, not ATS, but it’s something to think about as the Steelers visit in Week 13.

Half of 16 is 8, which is the number of consecutive ATS losses the Dallas Cowboys have suffered at home. They face the Eagles in Week 13 (no line yet due to injury situations in Philly), who will be trying to avoid their eighth straight loss. They come in riding an 0-6 ATS streak.

The Packers are 8-1 ATS within their division as they face the Vikings. The Titans are 1-8 ATS within their division as they face Houston.

Check out the opening Week 13 odds and betting trends for each team.
