Ben Roethlisberger injury: Steelers QB unlikely to play Week 13 vs. Ravens
Charlie Batch is expected to make a second consecutive start on Sunday.

While Tomlin stated that injured starter Ben Roethlisberger could potentially play against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 13, the team expects Batch to be under center. In addition, a source close to Roethlisberger stated that they would be shocked if he returned to action against Baltimore, according to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Roethlisberger suffered two injuries against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 10, including a sternoclavicular sprain in his throwing shoulder and a dislocated rib, which tore a tendon protecting the area. He has not played since sustaining the injuries.
He is expected to return to practice on Wednesday, but a return to game action will be determined based upon how well he can play with the injuries, not on his ability to tolerate the pain. Roethlisberger had previously stated on Sunday that he was hoping to return against Baltimore.
