Peyton Manning leads NFL Pro Bowl voting

The Denver Broncos quarterback is as popular as ever, leading the NFL in Pro Bowl voting with six weeks left in the 2012 season.

There are still six weeks left in the season, but the Denver Broncos' Peyton Manning is making a strong push for NFL MVP. After an up-and-down first month, Manning and the Broncos have won six straight games and are in control of the AFC West. After missing a year, the no-doubt Hall of Fame quarterback is as accurate as ever, completing nearly 68 percent of his passes and posting the league's third-best QB rating.

Both team and individual success also has Manning atop the NFL's current Pro Bowl voting, leading New England's Tom Brady by more than 40,000 votes as the league's top vote-getter. Here's the current position-by-position voting breakdown in the AFC, courtesy of Cincy Jungle:

The NFC's top vote-getter is reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers, who still registers 100,000 fewer votes than Manning. But he edges out Drew Brees and Matt Ryan, two other NFC quarterbacks who are among the top 10 overall in votes. Four other Packers join Rodgers as the current leaders at their respective positions.
