This weekend's contest between the 7-4 Indianapolis Colts and the 4-7 Detroit Lions is drawing a wide variety of responses from NFL experts. The Colts, who have won five of their last six games to take the lead in the AFC Wild Card standings, face their first road test since being blown out by the Patriots in Week 11. The Lions, on the other hand, have lost three straight games to fall out of the NFC playoff race.

Despite their recent form, the Lions are picked by eight of nine ESPN NFL experts, as well as ESPN’s Accuscore simulation. Likewise, six of eight CBS Sports NFL experts take Detroit, as does the CBS Prediction Machine. Yahoo’s votes are split, with two experts choosing the Lions and one expert -- as well as Yahoo users -- picking the Colts.
Detroit and Indianapolis kick off from Ford Field at noon Sunday, with television coverage on CBS.
