Tim Tebow will be inactive in Week 13 against the Arizona Cardinals, according to Ed Werder. The New York Jets backup quarterback is recovering from fractured ribs that he injured in Week 10 against the Seattle Seahawks. The ribs have reportedly gotten more painful since the original injury.
Tim Tebow injury: Jets QB out for Week 13, according to report
A rib injury will likely sideline Tebow against the Cardinals, according to a report.

Tebow actually played the week after he cracked his ribs, completing one pass and two rushes in Week 11. Last week, Tebow was listed as questionable, but was not able to play during the Week 12 loss to the Patriots.
This week, Greg McElroy will serve as a backup for starter Mark Sanchez. The Jets selected McElroy in the seventh round of the 2011 draft, but the Alabama QB has never taken a snap in the NFL.
