This week the defensive stalwart Chicago Bears head to Nashville to face a Tennessee Titans team that is starting to find its identity.

Last week the Bears experienced a scare at the hands of the Carolina Panthers. Chicago was unable to adequately protect Jay Cutler, and it showed as its offense was unable to move the ball. In part due to Carolina's defensive ineptitude, and part due to smart late-game adjustments, the Chicago Bears prevailed and now find themselves as one of the NFC's elite teams at 6-1. At this point you should know Chicago's defense. It's as good as any defense the NFL has seen in the last five years, as the unit combines its ability to stop the run and pass with a ball-hawking aspect in the secondary that puts points on the board.

The Tennessee Titans are finally exhaling a little after Chris Johnson started to look like the 2,000-yard rusher from years past. In the last three weeks he's run for 385 yards and two touchdowns. The issue for the Titans has been a combination of bad defense and lackluster QB play. The defense is ranked 30th in the NFL in yards allowed, while Matt Hasselbeck is a good veteran safety blanket but a stop-gap solution at best. The Titans are hurting by not having the upside of Jake Locker on the field, and it has shown in each game.
