Cam Newton powers Panthers past RGIII and the Redskins

Panthers quarterback Cam Newton led Carolina’s offense, completing 13 of 23 passes for 201 yards and one touchdown. Perhaps as importantly, Newton did not throw an interception for the first time since Carolina’s fifth game of the season.

After reading that, Williams must have felt like he “Can’t Hardly Wait” for the game to start. After the win, he told reporters:“That was definitely motivating. I mean, you don’t say you’re gonna have a homecoming in the National Football League. I mean, you do it in college. It’s [against] one of those teams that’s just terrible. You don’t book a good team for homecoming….I don’t know if they had a dance or anything...”

After the Carolina win, Williams can safely feel like “He’s All That.”

Cam Newton showed signs of life on Sunday with a rushing TD as part of his eight-carry, 37-rushing-yard day to go with his efficient passing of 13-of-23 passing for 201 yards and a TD.

Cam has been a huge disappointment for fantasy owners and his 1,902 passing yards and six passing TDs with eight picks.

It’s still early in RGIII’s career, but thus far the Griffin/Morris pairing has been incredibly effective for Washington.
