Bills vs. Texans results: Houston pulls away from Buffalo, 21-9

The Houston Texans improved to 7-1 on Sunday by defeating the Buffalo Bills at home, 21-9.

The Houston Texans scored two second-half touchdowns to pull away from the Buffalo Bills on Sunday en route to a 21-9 win at Reliant Stadium.

Quarterback Matt Schaub threw 19 of 27 for 268 yards, including two touchdowns.

That first touchdown came with time winding down in the first quarter. Schaub found Owen Daniels for the 39-yard reception to make it 7-0.

The Bills answered back in the second quarter to cut their deficit to 7-6 at halftime, courtesy of a pair of field goals from Rian Lindell. That second field goal came following a sack of Buffalo quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick with the Bills at Houston's 14-yard line.

Clinging to the advantage at halftime, Houston got on the board again less than three minutes into the second half when Arian Foster trotted in from three yards to give the Texans a 14-6 lead. Garrett Graham caught a five-yard pass in the fourth quarter to provide the final touchdown of the game and seal the victory.

Fantasy studs and duds: Foster stole the show in this one. He had 111 yards on 24 carries, including that third-quarter touchdown. C.J. Spiller, meanwhile, did not have his best game for the Bills. He rushed for just 39 yards, well below his season average.

Injury info: Buffalo cornerback Aaron Williams hurt his right knee in the third quarter and was taken out of the game. According to Bills reporter Joe Buscaglia, Williams was seen on crutches in the locker room after the game.

Did they cover?: The Texans came into the game favored by 11 points, so they covered, but just barely.
