DeMarcus Ware levels Matt Ryan

Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware laid a pretty big hit on Falcons QB Matt Ryan, forcing a fumble.

DeMarcus Ware stands above most of his pass rushing peers. For good reason. Look at what he did to Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan early in the second quarter of a Sunday night matchup.

Ware comes around the edge unblocked, a huge mistake by the Falcons in pass protection. It's pretty simple from there. He flies in, lays out Matt Ryan who fumbles the ball, a sack-fumble. Roddy White recovered for the Falcons, but they still ended up punting on the drive.

Whatever faults the Cowboys may have, and there are many, Ware is not one of them.
