The Indianapolis Colts were hit the hardest by the injury bug in the AFC South in Week 9, with defensive end Robert Mathis one of three Colts forced to leave against the Miami Dolphins. Meanwhile, the Tennessee Titans saw first round pick Kendall Wright leave against the Chicago Bears.

Mathis left the Colts' win over the Dolphins with a back injury and did not return. He is questionable for Week 10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Also leaving the game for the Colts were wide receiver Donnie Avery and offensive tackle Winston Justice. Avery left the game with a hip injury while Justice left with a knee injury. Both are questionable for Week 10.

Wright injured his elbow in the Titans' embarrassing loss to the Bears. He did not return, but X-rays on the elbow were negative. He's questionable for Week against the Dolphins. The Titans also lost linebacker Xavier Adibi to a sprained knee. Adibi is questionable for Week 10.

The Jaguars and Houston Texans both did not suffer any new injuries in Week 9.
