NFL picks, Week 10: Beware of the favorites
The Odds Shark computer is hitting its stride with consecutive winning weeks and a dire prediction for sportsbooks - the favorites will clean up again in Week 10.

Little did we know that the computer was closer to the former than anyone knew with its Week 9 prognostication, as the betting public slaughtered sportsbooks with profits like never before.
One oddsmaker called it the worst week in his 25 years in the business. Another, with 18 years under his belt, said he could not remember a week when everything went so well for bettors and went so wrong for sportsbooks.
Everyone expects the betting public to come back in droves in Week 10 and to pound those favorites again. But in an announcement that excites bettors and frightens oddsmakers, the computer is picking another big week for the favorites.
Worse yet for oddsmakers are predictions that the three teams facing double-digit spreads (San Francisco, New England and Pittsburgh) will all cover the spread.
So after an 8-6 ATS last week (10-4 SU), the computer is predicting a 9-3 ATS week for chalk (ignoring the two games that opened as PK at most sportsbooks tracked by OddsShark.com).
The computer picks several streaks to continue. The Colts and Bucs will continue their surprising, winning ways and the Falcons will sneak out of New Orleans at 9-0. The slumping Eagles and Jets will continue losing and the Chiefs won’t put up much of a fight in Pittsburgh on Monday night.
