The Indianapolis Colts improved their record to 6-3 this season when they pounded the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday Night Football, 27-10, and Colts fans have to be happy that Andrew Luck is finding ways to impact games even when he doesn't throw for a touchdown.

Luck posted a 80.1 Passer Rating and completed almost 70 percent of his passes while throwing for 227 yards, but his biggest impact game in the ground game. The rookie signal caller scored two rushing touchdowns -- a 5-yard scamper early in the second quarter and a 1-yard surge to push the margin to 17-0 with 7:39 remaining in the second quarter -- and those TDs forced the Jaguars to try and play catch up for the remainder of the evening.

Nobody expected the Colts to own the third-best record in the AFC during Week 10 in the 2012 season, but that’s the reality of the situation at the moment. Andrew Luck is the primary reason for the team reaching that level of success so quickly. As noted in the game recap at SB Nation, Luck has accumulated 2,631 passing yards, and he is currently on pace to break Cam Newton’s rookie passing record set last year.

Colts fans are starting to gain confidence in the team as well. Over at Stampede Blue, the staff predicted a victory before the game and the members of the community had a wonderful time watching the win unfold -- let’s just say praise for Andrew Luck is a common theme among Colts fans at this juncture.
