Eric Winston: ‘It’s just all very sad’

As the Kansas City Chiefs' staff deals with the decisions and emotions of today's news involving Jovan Belcher in a murder-suicide, the players are dealing with much of the same. Eric Winston told USA Today that the team is coming together to try to sort out the details and reality of what happened.

“It’s just all very sad. There’s rumors going around. But I don’t really know. We’re still finding out,” Winston said. “We were all just shuttled out of there pretty fast. Like a lot of guys, I’m still trying to talk to a lot of the guys.”
